Highlights
Diana Sambotin received the top national prize for continuous service at the Romanian language program in Seattle and the Center of Excellence in Bellevue, including collecting over 100 English books for a children’s library in Brașov, Romania.
The Forgotten Faces Foundation raised over $9,000 for disadvantaged children in Scânteia, Iași county, providing clothing, shoes, books, and toys to over 50 children, and donated $1,000 to Saint Leontie Orphanage in Rădăuți.
Daniel Popa served as a teaching assistant for the Romanian in High School program through ARCS in Seattle, working individually with students on language, culture, history, and geography.
